Love,

Holly Steve Steven Olivia

Well travled

Last weekend my mom came into town and we all went to do some site seeing. We started in Salem on Saturday and did Boston on Sunday & Monday. The kids did well on Saturday but on Sunday Olivia was pretty fussy. So on Monday just mom and I went into Boston to few things that were missed on Sunday, but all in all it was a pretty good visit. Then this past Friday was Steve's work picnic at Cape Cod. The kids had a blast playing in the pond at his bosses cape house and playing with the other kids. They didn't make it to the second house, which is on the ocean, it was well past their nap time but they had a blast and have been talking about playing in the water all day today (Saturday).

The kids did see a fly in the house today and have been fascinated by it all day. They love talking about seeing that fly (and we spent the money to get a zoo pass, and all they needed to see was a fly). Olivia is pretty excited to go next weekend and see baby Gwen and daddy's brother Uncle Brian, and Aunt Laura. She loves to look at pics of the baby and talk about the baby.

Well other than that, everything has been pretty normal this past week. No new injuries to report (thank goodness).

Love to you all

Dr. Appointment

Just a quick update. Steven's ear infection is gone along with the fluid, and his toenail is doing fine and should grow back within the year.

Day at the Zoo Take 2

So we took the kids back to the zoo the other weekend. And we actually made it through most of the zoo. Steven was very interested in most of the animals. Olivia was a little scared of them, especially the lions. But both of them LOVED the fish and the Hippo. That is where we spent most of out time. And of course the Merry Go Round, which they call the round and round.

Then on last Wednesday I had the kids outside on our front porch while we were waiting for Steve to come home from work. There are some bricks out there, I don't know why and when I ever I move them my neighbor puts them back on the porch. So any way, Steven kept messing around with them and of course he didn't listen to me when I told him to leave them alone and he dropped one on his big toe. There was blood and screaming, but no broken bones. He did loose his nail so hopefully it will grow back. He has an appointment tomorrow for his ear so I will have the doc look at it and tell me if he thinks it will grow back or not.

OH, and big potty announcements. Olivia went #1 on the potty and Steven went #2 on the potty, so hopefully they are figuring out what its for other than to sit on and read books :o)

But other than that the kids are doing well, they keep surprising us everyday by what they learn to say and do.
