Day at the Zoo

So on Monday we took the kids to the zoo. We got a family season pass so that I can take them during the summer. We didn't make it too far into the zoo, the kids were having fun at the petting zoo and riding the Merry Go Round, but depending on the weather we may take them back this weekend. Here are some pics from our trip.

P.S. Steven's ear infection is gone, however he still has some fluid in his ear. He is on yet another medication to get rid of the fluid and he has to go back to the doctor in 2 weeks for another check up.

Check Up

Well, at Steven's last check up he still had an ear infection. So the doctor gave us a prescription for a stronger antibiotic. We have to take him back tomorrow for another follow up appointment.
Other than that everything is going well. We took the kids to see their new baby cousin Gwen. Olivia was a little jealous of her but I think she eventually warmed up to her. Steven was a little curious but he would rather play with everyone that was there, he did however give Gwen a kiss before we left. Olivia know thinks that every baby she sees is baby Gwen.

I will let everyone know how Steven's appointment goes tomorrow.

2 year checkup

Well, the kids had their 2 year checkup on Thursday. Everything is going well. Steven weighs in at 32 pounds and is 34 inches tall which puts him in the 75% for his weight and 90% for height. Olivia is 27 pounds and 33 inches which puts her at the 55% for weight and 65% for height. So they both are growing good. But poor Steven had an ear infection, so the doc gave us a prescription for it and we have to go back in for a followup appointment next Monday. We didn't even know he had one, he wasn't running a fever or wasn't fussy. He's been a little congested but so has Olivia and myself do to the weather and allergies. But we'll get it all taken care of. Nothing new to report for the week, just still working on potty training, for some reason they haven't wanted to sit on the potty, so we haven't forced them to. They will when they are ready.

Well, now that we have this thing up and running, I will try to update it more often :o)

Nothing new to report for the week, still working on the potty training. Olivia counted to three today which was pretty exciting. They have been working on their numbers and counting but they generally don't get them in the right order. They are also working on their ABC's, they like to try to sing them but they don't know the order yet. They have to go in for their 2 year checkup on Thursday, it will be interesting to see just how big they are and what percentiles they will fall into. So hopefully I will have more to report next time :o)
